Lotte E&C’s Growth

After acquiring Pyeonghwa Construction Co. in 1978, Lotte Group began its foray into the construction market from September 1978. With the group’s financial support as well as the inauguration of Shin Joonho as the group president in September 1981, Lotte E&C joined the group of top construction contractors and started winning large-scale domestic and international projects.

Nov. 12 Registers as steel product installation business (MOC No. 59)

Sept. 15 Merges Lotte Construction (corporate birthday)
Oct. 15 Changes corporate name to Lotte-Pyeonghwa Construction Co.
